Not possible.
Cruelty to animals is still alive. When you are dead no more cruelty to animals.
It is perhaps not as cruel as it is no pain when the animal feels dead. Some people believe that animals have rights that have kept this as an insult. But this is a political issue to do with the people and power, not morality.
